National Library Week: Ask the Dean of the University Libraries In-Person
National Library Week is April 19 to 25. This week’s theme is “Find Your Place at the Library (@ home).” Let’s kickoff the week with a unique opportunity to meet the University Libraries Dean, Marianne Ryan.
Join us via Zoom wherever you may be. Find a comfy spot and bring your favorite coffee, tea, or water. At this event, we'll spend time answering your questions about the University Libraries and about the work we do. Please submit your questions ahead of time when you register. We will also have a casual chat so you can let us know what's on your mind!
What can you ask? Here are some topic ideas:
• University Libraries services and resources online
• Virtual life in the University Libraries (since the University buildings are closed)
• Library profession as a career path
• Marianne's favorite things – Cubs baseball and baking pies
Free event. So we can plan ahead, please select "Begin Registration" below. Register with a Loyola UVID. After registering, you will receive the Zoom link. We will also record this event so that others can view it at a later time.
If you have any questions, please contact Jocelyn Cheng at jcheng5@LUC.edu.
