Storytime and Silent Reading in the Libraries (Information Commons, 1st floor and Cudahy's Donovan Reading Room, 1st floor)

11:00 to 11:30 a.m. | Join our Friends of the Libraries for a special story time hosted by the University Libraries in Information Commons. Loyola alumni author and Friends Board President, Laura Beriau (BA '06), and alumni author, Emily Tuchman (BA '19), will read aloud from their respective books, making this event perfect for families with children. Come share in the joy of reading together!

In Cudahy Library, alumni of all ages can enjoy a relaxed environment for a quiet reading experience in the historic Donovan Reading Room. Bring your own book or browse through the library's collections while you enjoy the grandeur of Loyola's original library from 1930. 

Alumni can also sign up for an Alumni Card to access the Libraries year-round and receive free library keepsakes. 

West Quad Block Party (outside of Damen Student Center)

12:00 to 1:00 p.m. | Stop by the Libraries booth among the many groups and vendors to welcome alumni and families back to campus. Stay a while until 4:00 p.m. when the block party ends.
