Celebration of Engaged Scholarship

Celebration of Engaged Scholarship In-Person

Engaged scholarship offers a pathway connecting research, scholarly work, and/or creative activity to community engagement and experiential learning. As many Loyola faculty and staff publish, disseminate knowledge, and develop multimedia outlets for such efforts, we celebrate their engaged scholarship at this event! Please join us for a faculty panel to learn more about engaged scholarship as an additional avenue for research and scholarship and how the inclusiveness of engaged scholarship is an integral part of a Jesuit education, connecting practice, scholarship, research, and community-engaged teaching and learning. Provost Woods will offer opening remarks, and an engaged scholarship toolkit will be unveiled.  Light refreshments will be available. This event launches a University-wide initiative to elevate engaged scholarship, sponsored by University Libraries and the Center for Engaged Learning, Teaching, and Scholarship (CELTS).
