University Libraries and Chicago Public Library's One Book, One Chicago

University Libraries and Chicago Public Library's One Book, One Chicago In-Person

The Chicago Public Library's One Book, One Chicago launched in fall 2001 as an opportunity to engage and enlighten Chicago residents and to foster a sense of community through reading.  For over a decade, the University Libraries' Lewis Library has been hosting these book discussions thanks to one of their dedicated staff members, Vanessa Crouther.  In her honor, we will gather in person to read this year's selected title, There, There by Tommy Orange.

Join us on Thursday, November 2 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. for an in-person discussion at Water Tower Campus, Lewis Library, 25 E. Pearson Street, Room 900.  All are welcome to join and talk about this wonderful book!  Free to register.  Snacks will be provided.

Prior to the book discussion, you can check out a copy from the University Libraries' catalog or go to your nearest Chicago Public Library.
